Jorge Velasco-Hernandez, Instituto de Matemáticas, Unidad Juriquilla, oficina 20, Nodo Multidisciplinario de Matematicas Aplicadas and Adrián Acuña-Zegarra, Universidad de Sonora.  Title: Models and indicators for the evolution of the epidemic in Mexico.  Summary: I will present models and quantitative indicators that we have developed or applied to inform public health authorities on the mitigation and control of the epidemic in Mexico but, particularly, in Querétaro state. In Mexico there are limited testing and contact tracing of cases. We have, therefore, limited information for disease surveillance. Nevertheless, the need to have indicators of the state of the epidemic is a pressing need. We have developed some ideas to overcome these limitations that incorporate the traditional social behaviour of the Mexican people into our models. https://www.medrxiv.org/content/medrxiv/early/2021/04/20/2021.04.14.21255436.full.pdf YouTube and Slides.
