This would have been very useful for me, and I believe would be useful to other researchers. More importantly, it sets a framework for meeting the goals of the working group. 1) determine computational priorities and challenges related to MSM, specifically MSM of tissue mechanics 2) explore solutions for model sharing 3) provide a forum for discussion of issues related to MSM and tissue mechanics Jeff B. I believe that you can contribute in the areas of FE and conversion software. Jeff R., you have expertise in SIMM, medical images etc. Dan, I believe you have much experience in mesh generation. Merryn, you have experience with extensible markup language and constitutive equations. Ahmet, there are many areas where you can contribute with your expertise. I am attaching the working document to this mail, but I would like for discussions etc. to occur through the IMAG WG wiki. http://www.imagwiki.org/mediawiki/index.php?title=Working_Group_6 Katie Serrano has sent each of you a log in and password to this site. Please take the time to contribute your expertise and provide any feedback. A priority for computational biomechanics is the integration of scales (ie. cell tissue organ body). Giving the breadth of projects and the expertise of it members, I am very interested in exploring ways in which this working group can contribute to this endeavor. Thanks, -Trent
