  1. Establishment of common guidelines for code/data sharing. 
  2. NIH enforces: Institutional Certifications for minimum standards?
  3. Further establishment of  public infrastructure forr sharing code and data (like GenBank or pubmed).
     
  4. Sharing and/or standardization of data formats, code (analysis and processing), entire data pipelines and data infrastructures – how to achieve this and what’s reasonable? 
  5. Across U19s, there seems to be shared interest to do this, but how can we go about doing this? 
    • How to motivate re-use and improvement of software, rather than developing from scratch? 
    • Can we agree on what data should be shared as well as how and when?
  6. Establishment of common guidelines for code/data sharing. How and when should code be shared? Level of documentation? 
  7. Should NIH enforce this? Institutional Certifications for minimum standards?
  8. Need to establish public infrastructure for sharing code and data outside of commercial solutions like AWS/GitHub/Google (like GenBank or pubmed).
