The credible practice guidelines outlined in the article have been adopted and tested by the National Institute of Health (NIH) sponsored Interagency Modeling and Analysis Group’s (IMAG). The Committee on Credible Practice of Models and Simulations in Healthcare, a multi-agency and multi-institution working group consisting of 3 government agencies (NASA, FDA, NIH), 5 academic institutions, and 2 industrial partners, combined and curated the contributions for this article.
