NSF Travel Awards 
Many thanks to the NSF for providing travel reimbursement funds to defray costs of attending the 2024 IMAG/MSM meeting are available for those who have a financial need. The goal of this travel award was to support early career researchers and researchers from underrepresented groups in STEM (see NSF STEM Workforce Report); however, all groups were welcome to request this support as needed.

NSF Travel Awards
Limited travel reimbursement funds to defray costs of attending the 2024 IMAG/MSM meeting are available for those who have a financial need. The goal of this travel award is to support early career researchers and researchers from underrepresented groups in STEM (see NSF STEM Workforce Report); however, all groups are welcome to request this support as needed.
Travel awards will be issued for up to $1200 each in the form of a reimbursement, so awardees will be required to initially pay for their own travel. Awardees will be announced at the meeting.

Via Metrorail: Metrorail service is available from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, Dulles International Airport, and from Union Station (railway). Take Metro’s Red Line to the North Bethesda Station and board a Ride-On bus (routes 5, 26, or 81) for service along Executive Boulevard, or walk approximately half a mile to the meeting venue. Parking: Free visitor parking is available in the lots in the front and on the side of the building, as well as in the rear multi-level parking garage.
Access and Security at NSC
The NSC has implemented security measures to help ensure your safety. All visitors must enter the NSC Center and proceed to the guard station in the lobby to obtain a Visitor Pass, each day. You will be asked to submit to a personal inspection.
Visitors must provide a form of government-issued photo ID such as a driver’s license or passport.
Personal Inspections – All visitors should be prepared to submit to a personal inspection prior to entering the campus. These inspections may be conducted with a handheld monitoring device, a metal detector and by visible inspection. Additionally, your personal belongings may be inspected and passed through an x-ray machine.
Visitor passes must be prominently displayed at all times while on the NSC campus.
