Identifying correlates of behavior in multi-electrode LFP recordings
Oscillations in the local field potential (LFP) have historically been viewed as coarse-grained indicators of behavioral state. A challenge in understanding the LFP is that it is composed of responses of many thousands of cells and that it is dominated by spontaneous activity, not directly coupled to observable behavioral events or stimuli.

Multiplicative encoding of position and head orientation in multichannel hippocampal LFP
Previous work has shown that hippocampal theta-band local field potentials (LFPs) robustly encode position in rats navigating a linear track. This encoding scheme becomes visibly salient by applying ICA to the multi-channel LFP, producing position-tuned components reminiscent of place fields.
Embedded Ensemble Encoding Video
In this video we present our Embedded Ensemble Encoding theory, as well as the new model cell we had built over the last 3 years.
Following the description of the theory behind the scientific rationale (EEE Theory), we briefly describe our deliverable (code for a detailed cortical pyramidal neuron). Our model neuron is capable of producing a dendritic plateau potential, which maintains the cell body of pyramidal neuron in a sustained (several hundred milliseconds) depolarized state, "UP STATE".

Credible practice of modeling and simulation in healthcare: ten rules from a multidisciplinary perspective
The complexities of modern biomedicine are rapidly increasing. Thus, modeling and simulation have become increasingly important as a strategy to understand and predict the trajectory of pathophysiology, disease genesis, and disease spread in support of clinical and policy decisions. In such cases, inappropriate or ill-placed trust in the model and simulation outcomes may result in negative outcomes, and hence illustrate the need to formalize the execution and communication of modeling and simulation practices.
